“Our Daily Love” to celebrate anniversary of Amoris Laetitia

On March 19, 2021, an online event entitled “Our Daily Love” will celebrate five years since the publication of the Apostolic Exhortation Amoris Laetitia on the beauty and joy of love in the family. The online event is spearheaded by the Vatican Dicastery for the Laity, the Family and Life, the Diocese of Rome, and the Pontifical John Paul II Theological Institute.

On the same day, Pope Francis will also launch the Year “Amoris Laetitia Family”, which will conclude on June 26, 2022, on the occasion of the X World Meeting of Families in Rome.

The organizers explained on Wednesday that the online event is “the beginning of a path rather than a celebration”, since Pope Francis wants to encourage the Church to take action in pastoral care.

Our Daily Love will be live-streamed on the YouTube channel of John Paul II Institute and other Church promoters.

It is divided into two parts; the first part will emphasize the meaning of the celebration of the 5th anniversary of Amoris Laetitia and the second part will be on the theology of the document.

Pope Francis has previously announced a special year dedicated to the family on the 5th anniversary of Amoris Laetitia last December 27, 2020. (Fatima Llanza/RCAM-AOC)
