A Marian Conference was held at St. John the Baptish Parish in Pinaglabanan, San Juan City during the visit of the image of Our Lady of Loreto, widely known as Dalaw-Loreto sa Arkidiyosesis ng Maynila, last Wednesday.
Sem. Raymart de Guzman, a resident seminarian of San Roque Parish-Pasay and devotee of Our Lady, shared how he had been brought to Loreto Shrine in Sampaloc, Manila just like how the angels brought the house of Mary in Loreto, Italy.
Dito din ako unang nagsimulang magmahal” Said Sem. Raymart.
He also shared how his so-called “Nazareth to Nazareth experience” in Sampaloc contributed to his vocation towards priesthood.
During the talk, he also mentioned that the Virgin of Loreto was also a mother and a teacher that ignited his desire to follow and to become like Jesus thru his vocation; that provided him another home called TAHAN-an.
Kaya naman, Loreto will always be my Nazareth.”
On the other hand, the said Dalaw-Loreto sa Arkidiyosesis ng Maynila continues in preparation for the coronation of the 410-year old image of Our Lady of Loreto by the mandate of the Archbishop of Manila on December 1 and for the Parish celebration of the 410th Jubilee Fiesta on December 10.
