Manila Archbishop Jose F. Cardinal Advincula will lead the celebration of the Holy Mass for all frontliners on September 15, 2021, Wednesday, at the San Felipe Neri Parish at 9 a.m.
With the theme “Isang Misyon, Isang Panginoon,” the celebration recognizes and values the heroic acts of all medical frontliners and those working in the healthcare sectors who put risk their lives to help and attend to the needs of those who are infected with COVID-19.
Walang sawa nakin kayong ikinararangal at pinagdadasal,” Fr. Hans Magdurulang, parochial vicar of San Felipe Neri Parish told the Archdiocese of Manila Office of Communications.
Fr. Magdurulang who will join Cardinal Advincula in the celebration of the Eucharist also reflected on the grace that we receive even during these trying times.
Magdurulang said.
Last year, a similar Mass for the medical frontliners was also held on August 31, 2020. It was presided over by Bishop Broderick S. Pabillo, then Apostolic Administrator of Manila also at the San Felipe Neri Parish.
The Holy Mass for the frontliners is organized by the San Felipe Neri Parish in coordination with the Hands to Heaven PH and TV Maria, and will be live-streamed on the Facebook page of San Felipe Neri Parish and the Facebook pages of the official RCAM SOCOM platforms namely TV Maria, Radio Veritas and Archdiocesan Office of Communications (AOC).
