RE: ESTABLISHMENT OF NUESTRA SEÑORA DE LA SOLEDAD PARISH

Dear Monsignori/Fathers:

This is to inform Your Reverences that a new parish has been created under the Vicariate of Santo Niño dedicated to the patronage of Nuestra Señora de la Soledad.

The new parish of Nuestra Señora de la Soledad, Camba Street, Binondo, Manila was established on July 16, 2009, feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and its territorial boundaries were taken from Our Lady of Peace of Good Voyage Parish, Tondo, Manila; Santo Niño parish, Tondo, Manila and Minor Basilica of san Lorenzo Ruiz, Binondo, Manila.

Fr. Benjamin Jugueta, the first parish priest, is requesting for prayers that his new parish will be transformed into a real community of living faith, hope and love and that this intention be included in the community prayer in your Sunday Masses on August 30, 2009, his installation day.

As a local Church, let us welcome this new parish community in prayer and fellowship.
