NCR Vocation promoters hold Vocation Festival on Oct. 4

Are you being called to be a priest or a religious man or woman? This event may help you find out.

The Director of Vocations in the Philippines- Ecclesiastical Province of Manila will hold the first Vocation Festival with the theme, “Pinangindapat: Tawag at Tugon” on October 4, 2014, Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm at St. Vincent Shrine, Tandang Sora Avenue, Quezon City.

The festival aims to reach out to the youth, especially High School and College students, who may be searching for the path to choose in life. It offers information and guidance from experts on the Diocesan and Religious Life, to help them make choices that can help them discern and develop their calling in life.

The speakers and sharers include Sis. Venus Maria Pegar, SFX, for Religious Vocations, Fr. Allan Samonte for Diocesan Vocations, actor-comedian Michael V. on what led him to be an actor and a comedian. There will also be seminarians from the different dioceses of the ecclesiastical province to talk to the festival visitors.

Religious and diocesan orders will have booths and exhibits to give information on their work, mission and charism.

The festival will end with a Mass to be presided by Fr. Jason Laguerta of the Archdiocese of Manila.
