Call for Donations fo our Brothers and SIsters Affected by the Taal Volcano Eruption

With the recent eruption of the Taal Volcano in Batangas, more than 6,000 families or 25,000 people living near the volcano area were forced to evacuate and currently taking temporary shelters in 75 evacuation centers. Several municipalities in Batangas were directly affected by the eruption as PHIVOLCS raised the status to Alert Level 4. According to PHIVOLCS, the phreatic eruption of the volcano is increasing its activity and series of explosion and tremors might still be felt in the region in the coming days.

We at Caritas Manila once again appeal for your prayers and generous heart to help and support our brothers and sisters affected by the recent disaster. Through your donation, we will be able to provide an immediate response to the needs of the displaced families from the affected areas.

Caritas Damayan, the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management program arm of Caritas Manila, provides quick response relief operation and effective crisis intervention nationwide such as this kind.
