An exhibit of Belen Collection by Fr. Genaro Diwa of the Archdiocesan Liturgical Commission of the Archdiocese of Manila was featured in the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Paskuhan 2019 celebrations.

Almost 150 Belen collection of Fr. Diwa is displayed at the UST Museum and Main Building. It was organized by the UST Museum Rector, Rev. Fr. Isidro D. Albaño, OP.  The Belen exhibition is a great reminder of the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of Jesus Christ.

With the theme "Unto Us, A Child is Born," the annual UST Paskuhan commenced on December 2, at the Plaza Mayor.

In his homily, Very Rev. Hermino Dagohoy, OP reminded the community that in the advent season, "We are called to the kind of faith that rejoices because the birth of Jesus is the sweet sign of God's grace and love for us."

Among the highlights of the UST Paskuhan celebration was the traditional lighting ceremony graced by Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso.

A drone show with two sets of aerial show, one with 50 and the other set with 180 drones. Various figures were formed like the spinning Christmas tree, reindeer, and bells. The Main Building was illuminated in dazzling colors and designs.

The UST Christmas Concert, one of the Paskuhan events was held on December 5, 2019 (Preview Night) and December 6, 2019 (Community Night), at the Santisimo Rosario Parish Church.

The Paskuhan festivities culminated on December 20, 2019, with well-known bands performing at the UST Grandstand, and the Paskuhan Fair on the campus.

The much anticipated pyromusical display illuminated the UST skyline at 10 p.m. as the finale of the traditional Paskuhan celebrations for this year. (Jheng M. Prado / RCAM-AOC)
