Cardinal Tagle: God's grace is not sold or bought

This was Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio G. Cardinal Tagle's message during the baptism of 450 children under the care of Tulay ng Kabataan on Saturday, September 28, 2019, at the Manila Cathedral.

In his homily Cardinal Tagle told the faithful that the sacrament of Baptism is a grace from the Lord and has no price tag.

He also commended all the parents and godparents for their duty in helping the children grow in faith through the sacrament of Baptism.

Tulay ng Kabataan has been serving the poorest children in Manila and was able to help 55,000 children for the past 21 years including a young man from the slums of Pasig named  Darwin Ramos, Servant of God. He died on September 23, 2012, at the age of 17 because of Duchenne muscular dystrophy. (Jheng M. Prado/RCAM-AOC)
