Delivering his homily in front of the students, teachers, and faculty staff who attended the Mass, Cardinal Tagle expressed his admiration to the young people who are good in communication as well as in social media. He encouraged them to properly use it as a means to communicate the teachings of Christ with the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit sent by the Lord.

The Manila archbishop further added that there will be no proliferation of fake news if the faithful will speak in the language of the Holy Spirit that is based on truth.

Also during his homily, Cardinal Tagle directed his reminders to the teachers whose vocation is to teach and guide their students to be always truthful with their words.

“Para sa mga teachers, anu man ang subject matter, make sure that what you are teaching are ideas, concepts, that leads the students to God, to Jesus.

Before he ended his homily, the Cardinal reminded both the teachers and students to be morally upright and decent in keeping up with the trends.

The Mass of the Holy Spirit is held at the start of the school year to seek the help and guidance from the Holy Spirit.

RCAM-ES has about 28 catholic school members from Manila, Mandaluyong, Makati, and San Juan. (Jheng M. Prado/RCAM-AOC)
