This is what Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio G. Cardinal Tagle shared during the celebration of his 62nd birthday where a blood letting drive was held.

According to him, when we donate blood, we do not just give something. Donating blood can save a life.

On its twelfth consecutive year, Dugtong –Buhay project is the Archdiocese of Manila’s birthday gift to Cardinal Tagle. It was held on Friday, June 21, 2019, at the Arzobispado de Manila in Intramuros, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A total of 66 bags were collected from donors from the schools, parishes, ministries, employees of the Archdiocese of Manila and government agencies like the Social Security System (SSS) and Pag-ibig.

The bloodletting drive was organized by the Human Resource Department (HRD) of the Archdiocese of Manila in coordination with the Philippine Red Cross. (Jheng M. Prado/RCAM-AOC)
