Caritas Manila calls for donations for 'Ompong' victims


Caritas Manila, the social service arm of the Archdiocese of Manila is appealing to the faithful for prayers and donations for the victims of typhoon Ompong (International name "Mangkhut").
Typhoon Ompong brings heavy rains that caused massive flooding to the different provinces in Luzon particularly in Cagayan and Isabela.  
 Donations maybe in cash and kind:
- Food (rice, munggo, sugar, salt, pancit malunggay/kalabasa or bihon, canned vegetables, dried fish
- Non-food items like water, hygiene kits, mats, blankets and towels, clothes, new underwear
- Cash for shelter materials
