Cardinal Tagle Invites families, parishes to a"A Love to Last" concert

Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio G. Cardinal Tagle through his video message, invites all families and parishes to “A Love to Last” concert.

“Good day my friends, this is Cardinal Chito Tagle inviting you to “A Love to Last” #familiesareforever on October 29, 2017, that’s a Sunday from 2 in the afternoon to 6 in the evening at the SMX Convention Center,” he said.

With a #familiesareforever, A Love to Last is a concert and conference celebrating and proclaiming the gift of family as the “basic unit of society.” The family, as stated in the Philippine Constitution is “a gift that the state should protect, nurture, and strengthen.

Fr. Joel Jason, commissioner of the Commission on Family and Life of the Archdiocese Manila also invites the faithful to attend the concert.

“We envision this concert/conference as a positive way of proclaiming to the world the beautiful plan of God for love, marriage and the family,” Father Jason told the Archdiocesan Office of Communications.

The concert/conference will commence with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist to be presided by Cardinal Tagle.

It will feature various musical numbers, powerful and inspiring testimonials, and plenary exhortation by Cardinal Tagle.

“A Love to Last” concert is organized by the Commission on Family and Life of the Archdiocese of Manila in collaboration with Couples for Christ and other family oriented groups.
